DELLA FOGLIA was founded in 1962 by Mr. and Mrs. Della Foglia as a small artisan company of ball and needle valves. Over the past 60 years, our company has expanded its production range, acquiring considerable experience and a high degree of specializations; becoming an important player in the global energy markets.
We are focusing on the emerging markets of renewable energy by offering technical competency and complex products, for the research and development of a new eco-friendly and sustainable future.
Our mission is to take advantage of our competencies and productive structure to focus on new global markets such as offshore wind farm, CO2 capture and hydrogen services, which are always demanding technical competency, safer application, complex products and cost-effective solutions. We want to contribute to the future of the planet reducing the CO2 in our productive process, supporting the research and development of a new eco-friendly and conscious work environment.

Added to product range trunnion mounted ball valves of medium and big sizes. Obtained important qualifications: ISO 9001:1994, API 6D and API 6A.
First million-dollar supply contract.
First international project for SnamProgetti: more than 1.000 valves with different sizes, manual and actuated. The company received PED certification.
Prestigious approvals were achieved: Saudi Aramco approval and Type Approval Test(TAT) certification by Shell. Took part in a new mega project for Qatar: large size valves with diameters up to 48”. EPC: Chiyoda/Technip JV.
2 more significant certifications from the American Petroleum Institute (API): API 17D and API 6DSS for subsea valves.
Expanded its offices and purchased 2 new facilities for a total area of 19.000 m2. Celebrated its 50th birthday in 2012. In 2011, increased its production range manufacturing 6 trunnion mounted ball valves with a diameter of 56” cl. 600.
Della Foglia received British Petroleum (BP) Approval and 2 essential certifications for the Russian market: EAC (ex GOST) and Seismic. Another relevant project was placed: Amursky.

Della Foglia has been an important player in the Oil&Gas industry for almost 60 years. We have offered a wide range of products and solutions, from small floating ball valves up to 64” trunnion mounted valves. Different designs and services have been provided, from cryogenic to high temperature and pressure. Our goal is to keep working in this sector, always offering better solutions and technologies.
We can provide a wide range of solutions suitable for the LNG market, such as low temperature carbon steel and stainless steel ball valves, with classes up to API 6D 1.500, to ensure no leakage or dispersion.
Our valves are suitable for hydrogen service; they can be provided with special coating and/or materials, studied to guarantee absolute shut-off and reliable sealing.
We can offer special features for water service. In cases where it is important to avoid the contamination of the fluid, we can offer valves covered with a special lining coat made with fusion bonded epoxy, able to ensure a long-lasting barrier between the fluid and the valve.
